June 14 2025, 4PM-10PM - Low-Light Training (Pistol)
Using basic shooting fundamentals found in Basic Pistol and Practical Pistol, but in a dark environment. We will be utilizing both weapon-mounted white-light devices as well as hand-held flashlights and techniques.
The course of fire for this class is a flat range target warmup and a full-scale USPSA style stage setup with walls, barrels, and assorted cover.
Outside the waistband (OWB) holster setups are required for this course. The expectation is to progress onto Inside the waistband (IWB) Low-Light course after this training. Basic Pistol/demonstrably skills and experience equivalent to Basic Pistol is a pre-requisite to attend this course.
Required Equipment to bring:
Pistol-mounted flashlight
Hand-held flashlight
Holster (that fits your Pistol-mounted flashlight)
Magazines (2 minimum)
Magazine holder(s)
Basic headlamp for admin tasks
Ammo (300-400 rounds)
Weather-appropriate clothing
